Today I open Safari and found out that google has made a little change with its homepage (google.com is the default home page). Below is the pictures of the change, check it out:
I just finished the design of the poster 2010 for my hometown, where will hold a party on the Chinese New Year eve. This is the second time for me to design the posters for my hometown (here is the first time first posters design), I’m so proud of doing that :)
Just take a look what I’ve done, and hope you like it:
Recently I am working on a new website design and develop, it’s called bluepapa.com, which is a personal site of a pretty girl. Here is the illustration for coming soon page of bluepapa.com:
Nick La who is a talented designer based in Canada yesterday posted an article about the redesign of his personal site, It explains every detail about the redesign as well as shows you the process images, I think that’s a great article to take a look and be inspired. And I think his new redesign is just awesome, he did a great job so far, I love this new one though the Phoenix one was awesome, also. And yeah, the illustrations on every page are just stunning! Just go take a look :)
After 3 years of using the Pheonix theme on N.Design Studio, I finally redesigned it with a Koi theme. The new look has improved a lot in terms of design and WordPress implementation. Every section has a unique layout which gives you a refreshing feeling. This post will summarize everything about the new design as well as show you the process images. Also, I will talk about how other sites inspired me.
About 2 weeks hard working and helped by some other nice guys, finally I got the class website done, I’m so excited about it. And glad to know that my classmates liked it very much, sounds not bad, haha :D
OK, here is the website address, and below are some sketches and wireframes for that site when I was designing it :)
When you start designing a new website it’s very useful to sketch out a first idea of page layout using paper and stencil. This approach help you define easily a working draft of the final version of your website. In general this is a top-down process: you can start sketching first the main sections and then adding more details progressively. In this post I want to suggest you some interesting examples of beautiful sketches for website prototypes for your daily inspiration.
After I went to a friend’s (who was my classmate in the university) wedding last friday and got back home, I thought I should build a website for the class (class of 2006, and Computer Science & Technology 2002, we called “02CST” for short) we were in, haha. I think it’d be fun. I’ve got a plan for the site and wrote down the ideas on the paper. In shortly, this site would be a place to show 3 main parts of our life, (the photos, videos, stories of) Wedding, University Time, and Activities or Parties not in the university. Well, it’s just a rough plan then. I have to get it more detailed and start to design the site :) I hope I could get it done by the beginning of Jan 2010, haha.
You know, I got another small project called Hua Zhong Wen to run, because I’ve been busy working on the other projects and redesigning my personal site, didn’t get some time to update it yet. But after finished them, now I finally get the time to start to update the drawings for that site. Yesterday I made a drawing for a new topic, you will see the final drawing on that site soonright here! Here is the sketch:
